Inspiration: Postcard from Washington D.C.

October 24, 2014

Some memorable moments from my trip to Washington D.C. this summer included walks down the National Mall, where I took in the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. I also loved exploring the capital’s leafy neighborhoods, including Georgetown and DuPont Circle. One discovery was the revitalized Penn Quarter neighborhood, which is anchored by the beautifully renovated Old Patent Office Building, now housing the National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
