Neoteric Design, in collaboration with the Nora Al Shaikh design team, created the first iteration of this site design in 2014. It was, even at that time, notable for its mobile friendliness and minimal, clean appeal.
In 2021, Neoteric made minor updates to the visual design, and significant changes to the mobile, conceiving the project as “mobile first” given the large number of mobile users.
This site uses Effra for its typography, designed by Fabio Haag for Dalton Maag. Effra can trace its family history back to Caslon Junior. With clean lines and humanist shapes, Effra is a supremely flexible sans serif family.
Neoteric rebuilt this site CMS in 2021. It runs on a JAMstack architecture, with Hugo, Netlify, Cloudinary, and Forestry as key systems. It runs on a highly customized Hugo theme created by Neoteric Design.
